Cha siu bao |
Last weekend I was with a friend enjoying the sunshine and wondering through China Town. We were feeling peckish, but not hungry enough for a full meal when walked past Sun Luen Snack bar. It is best describe as a little chinese bakery, with lots of shiny buns, all neatly lined up in the window, not necessarily a sight you would associate with Chinese food. We walked away with two cha siu bao, which is a brioche type bun filled with sticky sweet pork, only £1.30 each and the perfect accompaniment for a trip down the red lantern covered streets.
