Miles Aldridge |
It's the last chance to see the photographer Miles Aldridge and Elbulli's brilliant exhibitions at Somerset House as they both close on Sunday 29th September.
I popped in on Monday and loved both. British photographer, Miles Aldridge's retrospective showcased his polished portraits of women alongside his sketchbooks, which I always like to see because it gives you an insight into where they get their inspirations.

Ferran Adria infront of his Fimo models |
The ElBulli exhibition is a major restrospective of a global icon of gastronomy, Ferran Adria and the food he produced at ElBulli, which was once the world's best restarant. I was unsure of how interesting, even for someone who is into food, an exhibition purely about a chef and a restaurant could be but I loved it. Every effort had been made to entertain the viewer: Short films showing the bustling kitchen during service, a display of Fimo models to ensure continuity when the chefs were plating up the food and a projection of a diner eating an Elbulli meal on a table that you could sit down at.
