June To Do List

The weather is hotting up and let's be honest, it's just too nice to stay in doors all day doing DIY. Here's what I'm planning for the rest of June...

Booking: Tickets for Regents Park Open Air theatre

It's a bit of a summertime ritual for my family. Last year Jimmy Carr had us in hysterics and years before it poured down on us during A Midsommer Nights Dream. This year choose from a line up off To Kill a Mockingbird, Porgy and Bess or Twelth Night. Bring a picnic (above is the one we prapered last year) or choose from their BBQ, or swanky restaurant. Buy tickets here.

Lotta clogs buy here

Buying: A new pair of Lotta's

They are still my favourite, summer shoe of all time since discovering them two years ago. I already have the tan low braids and and the red peep toes. This time, I think I'll go for the High Wood Navy blues, pictured above. Buy Here.

Seeing: The Drowned Man

The biggest production by Punch Drunk to date, this Hollywood fable and immersive theatrical experience is closing on 6th July. Friends with great taste have told me it is the best thing they have ever seen. Set across four floors of a vast space the multiple story lines unfold and move from room to room and it's up to the viewer to follow who they like. Some of the last performances have sold out so buy tickets here fast.

Drinking: Frank's

Reports say that Peckham's multi-carpark roof bar which opened last week for the summer season was packed. Last year, it delighted everyone with their campari based drinks and this year, Frank's is keeping it interesting by inviting artist, James Bridle to make an instillation on the roof. I've got my hungry eye on one of chef, Amir Pen's Peckham Pastramis on grilled rye bruschetta.
